Once again to Face Down the Demon Nicotine

Normally I wouldn’t consider giving up smokes when I physically down this far, but what the hell, its as good of a time as any.  Basically what I’ll do is post a dated entry here every day that may or may not say anything interesting, but I’m normally good for some evil observations when I quit smoking, partly because I can point to the evil and then the smokes and ask “Which do you want me to give up?”  So…

March 1st, damn, I’m even farther behind than before. No smokes or homicides in over a month.

February 8th, holy crap I’m way behind on updates. Sop, we’re on about day 14, had no smokes and killed no one, so double bonus there. Cheing nicotine gum, and pretty soon I’ll start tightening up the rationing on that.

January 26th, day one is easy and besides, I feel like shit anyway so who’d know where one stopped and the other one picked up?

About Tim Boothby

I was born in the Midwest and grew up in Iowa, Missouri and Texas. I guess you could say I had an eventful childhood, at least it was a helluva lotta fun! I enlisted in the Air Force in 1984 and retired in 2007. I saw a whole bunch of the world and racked up a lot of experiences in the process. Now I'm retired and enjoying life to the fullest!
